Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon, may take more
  • 1 package miniature smoked sausage links
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

How To Make little smokey joes

  • Step 1
    Cut bacon strips in thirds. wrap one piece of bacon around each sausage and secure with a toothpick.
  • Step 2
    Place wrapped sausages in a foil-lined baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • Step 3
    Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes until bacon is crisp and sausages is heated through. Brown sugar will be thick syrup by this time.
  • Step 4
    Remove from pan and arrange on plate for serving. Best when served warm from the oven.
