Linda's Caramelized Bacon
Not real sweet, but just enough...bacon is one of my favorite foods, this just kicked it up a few notches!!
The recipe was given to me by a cousin, Linda Kimmel.
- 1 lb
- bacon (not thick cut)
- 1 c
- light brown sugar
- 1 tsp
How to Make Linda's Caramelized Bacon
- 1In shallow bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon, mixing well. Put bacon in mixture, a few slices at a time, patting it to coat well on both sides.
- 2Place bacon slices on ungreased sheet pan w/sides; bake 8 minutes, turning once, @ 350°F, until golden brown.
- 3Note: Linda told me you can use this on turkey bacon as well; but do not use thick cut/slab bacon as it doesn't cook up as well.
