Ingredients

  • 40 wonton wrappers
  • FILLING
  • 7 ounces napa cabbage, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces glass noodles
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground pork
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • DIPPING SAUCE
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons chili crisp
  • 4 scallions, fine chop

How To Make korean style dumplings

  • Step 1
    Place the cabbage in a bowl and add the salt, and mix it into the cabbage. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then squeeze out the excess water. Set aside
  • Step 2
    Boil the glass noodles for about 5 minutes, then drain and cut into small pieces. Place the pork, cabbage, green onions, noodles, soy sauce, mirin, ginger paste, soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix well.
  • Step 3
    Place a spoonful of the pork mixture into the middle of each wonton wrapper.
  • Step 4
    Rub some water on the edges and fold in half, and pinch together, making a crimped edge.
  • Step 5
    Once all have been completed, place the wontons in batches in a steamer.
  • Step 6
    Once steamed, brown them in a skillet with a little oil.
  • Step 7
    For the dipping sauce, mix all the ingredients together and serve with the dumplings.
