Italian meatballs. Great appetizer!

Ingredients For italian meatballs

  • 1/2 lb
    sweet Italian sausage
  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • olive oil
  • 1 c
    marinara sauce
  • 1/2 c
    mozzarella cheese

How To Make italian meatballs

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    In a small mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine sausage, ground beef, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs. Blend ingredients thoroughly.

    Prepare a baking pan by greasing with olive oil. Set aside.
  • Oven Baked Meatballs at 375 for 30 minutes

    Divide the mixed ingredients into 4 equal amounts. Approximately 1/4 lb each. Shape into a ball and lightly grease the outside with olive oil. Place all 4 pieces in the pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Sauce it.

    Remove from oven and add marinara sauce equally to each meatball. Place back in oven for 5 minutes.

    Remove from oven and add mozzarella cheese. Return to oven for 5 minutes. Remove. Plate. Enjoy.
