    pitted dates
  • 1 can(s)
    15 oz. pineapple chunks
  • 1 pkg

How to Make Hot dates


  1. Preheat the broiler and set a rack 6 inches from heat source.
  2. Place a pineapple chunk in each date. Wrap a half slice of bacon around each stuffed date and secure with toothpick.
  3. Broil 6 inches from heat, turning occasionally, until bacon is crisp on all sides,
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve warm
  4. another way I love to eat the dates, is just stuff the halfs with cream cheese and top with a pecan half. xoxox
