Hidden Valley Ranch Sausage Stars

Found this recipe a long time ago in McCalls Magazine, December 1992 issue. They look really cute when served and taste delicious.

1 pkg
won ton wrappers
1 lb
sausage (cook, blot dry, crumble)
1 1/2 c
monterey jack cheese, grated
1 1/2 c
sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 c
prepared hidden valley ranch salad dressing
1 can(s)
sliced black olives (2.25 oz)
1/2 c
red pepper, chopped


1Lightly grease muffin tin and press one wonton wrapper in each cup. Brush or spray with oil. Bake 5 minutes, or until golden brown, at 350 degrees. Remove from tins, place on baking sheet.
2In bowl, combine cooked sausage, cheeses, dressing, olives, and red pepper.
3Fill wontons with sausage mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until bubbly.
