Found this recipe a long time ago in McCalls Magazine, December 1992 issue. They look really cute when served and taste delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 package won ton wrappers
  • 1 pound sausage (cook, blot dry, crumble)
  • 1 1/2 cups monterey jack cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup prepared hidden valley ranch salad dressing
  • 1 can sliced black olives (2.25 oz)
  • 1/2 cup red pepper, chopped

How To Make hidden valley ranch sausage stars

  • Step 1
    Lightly grease muffin tin and press one wonton wrapper in each cup. Brush or spray with oil. Bake 5 minutes, or until golden brown, at 350 degrees. Remove from tins, place on baking sheet.
  • Step 2
    In bowl, combine cooked sausage, cheeses, dressing, olives, and red pepper.
  • Step 3
    Fill wontons with sausage mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until bubbly.
