Make ahead idea: After tossing wings in hot sauce put in fridge for up to 2 days. When it's party or tailgate time grill and baste in under 15 minutes! This recipe made the cover of Chile Pepper Magazine's "Staff Favorite" we also won the Delaware's Best Wings Recipe Contest, beating out the big Hot Sauce Guys! You've got to try it!

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds chicken wings
  • 3 pinches salt and pepper
  • 1 bottle hot sauce
  • 1 jar pepper jelly hell (hot)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water

How To Make heavenly wings in hell

  • Step 1
    Lightly season wings with salt and pepper, bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Toss cooked wings in hot sauce. *see tips
  • Step 3
    While wings are baking: In a separate dish melt pepper jelly in microwave with water and salt (about a minute). Put sauce aside. Preheat grill.
  • Step 4
    Grill wings to a nice char. Turn flame way down or off. Brush wings with jelly mixture on both side and close grill for just a minute to set the glaze
