This is another always on the menu for our Sunday Night Dinner Appetizer meal. Everyone loves these, even the picky eaters!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hot bulk pork sausage
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound soft cheddar cheese, cut in blocks
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 - mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound loaf cocktail rye

How To Make hanky panky squares

  • Step 1
    Saute sausage and drain on paper towels.
  • Step 2
    In large frying pan saute ground beef and drain.
  • Step 3
    Combine sausage and cheese with ground beef and cook until cheese is melted.
  • Step 4
    Add worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder and blend well.
  • Step 5
    Spread on cocktail rye and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Step 7
    These can be made ahead and frozen.
  • Step 8
    Bake for 12 minutes if frozen.
