These roll-ups go great on a buffet table or as nibbles at a cocktail party, or even as an evening snack. I first tasted these at a charity fundraiser and liked them so much I actually unrolled one (discreetly) to ascertain all it contained. With a little experimentation, mine taste as good as theirs!
It has the savory and salty flavor from the ham, crunch from nuts, the freshness of the celery, and the slight sweetness of the cream cheese.
Can be doubled, tripled, etc.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
We loved these simple ham roll-ups. The cream cheese filling is held together with heavy cream and cream cheese mixed with crab and pistachios. It almost has a sweet flavor and is the perfect contrast with the savory ham. The filling adds tons of flavor and gives the roll-ups a little texture. A delicious bite-size appetizer that can be dressed up on a nice platter or served as a snack on a paper plate. We're hooked!
