I love these dumplings~They take a little time to prepare but go fast! I made these for a New Years Party and it was a total hit! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground pork-uncooked
  • 4 sprigs scallions-chopped fine
  • 3 cloves garlic-chopped fine
  • 2 small ginger-chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 dashes chinese hot oil
  • - peanut oil

How To Make gow gee dumplings

  • Step 1
Take all ingredients but wrappers and mix in bowl. Then form into small melon ball sizes. Then take your wrappers and wet ends of wrapper and place ball in middle and take all ends together and twist to make a dumpling(like dim sum).
  • Step 2
Now you can either fry them in hot frying oil(peanut preferred)or you can steam these (healthier side). They fry till golden brown about 2-3 minutes or steam for about 5 minutes in hot water(boil your water and then keep on low heat so it remains hot).Serve with a Soy/ginger based dipping sauce.I actually go to my favorite Chinese take out and get there sauce,
