Blue Ribbon Recipe
Wow! This dip could be used as an appetizer, spread or on a sandwich. It's easy to prepare and the Cajun spice gives it a slight kick! The Test Kitchen
1 pkg1.5 lbs package of crab meat ( intimation works fine )
1/4 cranch dressing
1 tspdill relish
1 tspsweet relish
pinchsalt and pepper to taste
1/4 tspgarlic powder
1/4 tsponion powder to taste
1/2 cchopped celery
dash(es)slap your mama or cajun spice and if you like a little some cayenne pepper
How to Make Crab Salad
- Chop or break up your crab meat placing it into a large bowl.
- Dice your celery and toss that in with the crab meat.
At this time you can add shredded cheese if you want to as I did when I made this with a extra twist.
- In a small mixing bowl put the rest if the ingredients and blend together. At this time you could add a pinch of cumin or other spices to change the flavor a bit . I have even used a little SLAP YOUR MAMA spice for a little kick .
- Pour the mixture over the crab and celery mix it all together. Refrigerate until chilled and the flavors will come together tasting like the restaurants made it.
