How to Make Cocktail Meatballs
2Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onions, horseradish, garlic, tomato juice, salt and pepper.
3Mix well and shape into 1" balls. Place in jelly roll pan and brown in oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and drain. Set aside.
4For the sauce: Melt butter in large skillet. Add the onions and saute until golden.
5Blend in flour. Add beef broth, stirring until smooth.
6Stir in remaining ingredients (red wine, brown sugar, ketchup, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and ginger snaps.
7Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add meatballs and simmer 5 more minutes.
