The Stomboli is full of bacon, Chorizo along with pesto and cheese. Perfect for a meal or snack!

Ingredients For chorizo stromboli

  • 1 pkg
    cariqua chorizo
  • 1 md
    jalapeno pepper
  • 1 sm
    green bell pepper
  • 1/3 c
    onion
  • 5 slice
    precooked bacon
  • 15 slice
    pepperoni's
  • 1 jar
    green pesto sauce with basil
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make chorizo stromboli

    Add oil to a skillet. Preheat oven to 400

    Add the Chorizo to the skillet.
  • 3
    Add the onion, Jalapeno pepper and bell pepper to the skillet.
  • 4
    Add salt and pepper to skillet. Cook mixture 10 to 15 minutes.

    Cook the bacon.

    On a lightly sprayed cookie sheet

    Put the Crescent sheet on the sheet pan. Stretch it a little, be careful not to tear.

    Add some pesto over Crescent sheet, about 2 tablespoon fulls.

    Add the Chorizo mixture on top of Pesto.

    Crumble the bacon and place on top of Chorizo.

    Add the sharp cheddar cheese to top.

    Fold up each short end, and then began roll it into a log staring with long side close to you.

    Cut about 4 slits in top of roll.

    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until brown.
