12 slices bacon fried crisp
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
- crushed pecans... optional

How To Make chocolate covered bacon

Step 1

Melt chocolate and add shortening to smooth out chocolate

Step 2

Dip strips of crispy fried bacon in chocolate. Sprinkle with pecans if desired. Place in refrigerator until set.
