chinese sausage egg rolls
(1 RATING)
Ok, These are Amazing! But I know sometimes it is hard to find Chinese sausage for this dish. If you can't find it, just sub with ground pork, brown sugar and Ahh So Sauce.. I think that's how you spell it. Anyway it's the red syrupy sauce you pour over pork ribs. I have used both as I couldn't find the chinese sausage one time. It didn't taste any different!

Ingredients
- 1 pound chinese sausage
- 1 package cole slaw mix
- 1/2 - onion minced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon ginger root, grated, you can use less if your not a fan of ginger...
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 3 teaspoons soy sauce
- 3 teaspoons hot thai chili sauce, not the sweet, the hot!
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
How To Make chinese sausage egg rolls
-
Step 1Fry up sausage until cooked through. I drain mine on paper towels then add back in after the coleslaw mix cooks down.
-
Step 2Cook down cole slaw mix, with onion, garlic and ginger then add the sausage back to pan.
-
Step 3Add all of the flavoring sauces.
-
Step 4Get your egg roll wrappers and start rolling! Fry in oil, you can bake them but really, frying is Best! Fry in 350-400ish, for about 2-3 minutes until skin is golden and crisp. (I say 350-400ish because my fryer is my deep electric skillet, I usally have to fuss in between the two settings!)
