Everytime I bring these to a gathering I also bring along several copies of this recipe because I am always asked for it.

These little bites would make a wonderful addition to your next party. Bacon is good with anything (right?!), so add that to the crunchiness of the chestnuts and you've got one delicious appetizer!

Ingredients
- 3 cans whole water chestnuts-8 oz. ea.
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup mayonaise
- 3/4 cup chili sauce
How To Make chestnut hors'd'oeurves

Step 1Wrap chestnuts in 1/3 piece of bacon. Place in cake pan ends down. Bake @350 for 1 hour. Drain fat.

Step 2Combine brown sugar, mayonaise, and chili sauce. Pour over hot chestnuts. Bake for 20 min. @ 350.

Step 3Serve warm with cocktail toothpicks.
