How to Make Caramelized Bacon
- 1Preheat oven to 375.
Line 15"x10" jelly roll pan with heavy-duty foil.
Spray wire rack with non-stick spray;place in prepared pan.
- 2Cut bacon in half crosswise;arrange in single layer on a prepared wire rack.
Combine sugar,water,and red pepper in a small bowl;mix well.
Brush generously over surface of bacon.
- 3Bake 20-25 minutes or until bacon is dark brown.
Immediately transfer to serving platter;cool completely.
