Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes before serving.

- (12oz) applewood-smoked bacon
- 1/2 c
- packet light brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp
- 1/4-1/2 tsp
- ground red pepper
Line 15"x10" jelly roll pan with heavy-duty foil.
Spray wire rack with non-stick spray;place in prepared pan.
Combine sugar,water,and red pepper in a small bowl;mix well.
Brush generously over surface of bacon.
Immediately transfer to serving platter;cool completely.
