On a bus trip to Longaberger (back when I was still a consultant), one of the shops in Dresden made these to sample. I remember the owner was happy to share this recipe (maybe she tasted so much she was giddy! LOL)

14 ozketchup

1 cbourbon

1 cdark brown sugar

48 oz packages mini cocktail hotdogs, cut into 1" chunks

1Mix all but hotdogs in large pan. Cover and simmer at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally. (You can make this ahead up to this point, cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours then reheat sauce until hot.)

2Add hotdogs and simmer until heated through, about 5-10 min. Spoon into casserole and serve with toothpicks.
