bourbon hotdogs (you need to see id for this one!)
On a bus trip to Longaberger (back when I was still a consultant), one of the shops in Dresden made these to sample. I remember the owner was happy to share this recipe (maybe she tasted so much she was giddy! LOL)

Ingredients
- 14 ounces ketchup
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 - 8 oz packages mini cocktail hotdogs, cut into 1" chunks
How To Make bourbon hotdogs (you need to see id for this one!)

Step 1Mix all but hotdogs in large pan. Cover and simmer at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally. (You can make this ahead up to this point, cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours then reheat sauce until hot.)

Step 2Add hotdogs and simmer until heated through, about 5-10 min. Spoon into casserole and serve with toothpicks.
