These little tidbits are a great appetizer or snack. Try them for game day, tailgate party or anytime. This recipe came from Better Homes and Gardens, Fix It Fast Cook Book, 1979

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds polish sausage or frankfurters, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

How To Make beer-sauced links

  • Step 1
    In skillet combine sausage and beer. Cover; simmer 10 minutes. Combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Stir in vinegar, mustard and horseradish. Add to sausages; cook and stir until bubbly. Turn into fondue pot; place over fondue burner. Serve warm with wooden picks.
