Ingredients

  • 1 can 12 oz beer
  • 1 can 6 oz spicy v-8 juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 large bottle of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 3 pounds ground beef
  • 2 to 3 - eggs
  • 1 - jalepeno chopped (opt)

How To Make beer meatballs in a crockpot

  • Step 1
Combine ground beef, 1/2 cup of the onions, bread crumbs, and eggs. Do not over mix. Make this into meatballs. Fry or bake until done.
  • Step 2
In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes. Put both sauce and meatballs into crockpot. The sauce should cover the meatballs. Simmer for at least 3 hours. However, the longer you simmer, the better. 7 to 10 hours is best on low. You may want to add more ketchup or v-8 juice. Add 1 jalepeno chopped if you want it hotter.
