beer bbq honeydogs
I invented this concoction for an office party, and it turned out to be a huge hit. I originally named it after a popular brand of beer that starts with H (so it had an alliterative name of H_____ Honeydogs)... but you can use any brand or style of beer you like - feel free to experiment! You can also experiment with different proportions of ingredients in the sauce - in fact, I rarely use exact measurements when I make it. It’s best to wait until at least an hour of cooking time has elapsed before tasting and making adjustments, as the sauce flavors will blend and mellow with simmering.
