  • 3 can(s)
    whole water chestnuts (8 oz. each)
  • 1 lb
  • 3/4 c
    plum sauce
  • 3/4 c
  • 3/4 c
    chili sauce

How to Make Baked Water Chestnuts


  1. Wrap each chestnut in 1/3 piece of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
  2. Place on a baking sheet with a wire rack and bake at 350 for one hour.
  3. Combine plum sauce, mayonnaise, and chili sauce and pour over the hot chestnuts. Then bake for 20 minutes more at 350.

    Serve warm.
