Ingredients

  • 3 cans whole water chestnuts (8 oz. each)
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 3/4 cup plum sauce
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup chili sauce

How To Make baked water chestnuts

  • Step 1
    Wrap each chestnut in 1/3 piece of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
  • Step 2
    Place on a baking sheet with a wire rack and bake at 350 for one hour.
  • Step 3
    Combine plum sauce, mayonnaise, and chili sauce and pour over the hot chestnuts. Then bake for 20 minutes more at 350. Serve warm.
