A lady at church gave me this recipe years ago. It has always been a hit every time I've taken it to parties as an appetizer. Never met anyone who did not like it. There is never any left and I always make a double batch.

white granulated sugar
1/4 c
worcestershire sauce
1/4 c
brown sugar
2 can(s)
whole water chestnuts
1 c
2 lb

How to Make Bacon Wraps


  • 1Wrap each water chestnut with one half strip of bacon.
  • 2Place seam side down on cookie sheet.
  • 3Bake at 400degrees for 40 minutes.
  • 4Drain baked bacon wrapped water chestnuts on paper towels.
  • 5Discard bacon grease.
  • 6Make sauce with remaining ingredients.
  • 7Transfer bacon wrapped water chestnuts to a dish with sauce.
  • 8Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
  • 9Enjoy!!
