bacon wraps
A lady at church gave me this recipe years ago. It has always been a hit every time I've taken it to parties as an appetizer. Never met anyone who did not like it. There is never any left and I always make a double batch.

Ingredients
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cans whole water chestnuts
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 pounds bacon
How To Make bacon wraps

Step 1Wrap each water chestnut with one half strip of bacon.

Step 2Place seam side down on cookie sheet.

Step 3Bake at 400degrees for 40 minutes.

Step 4Drain baked bacon wrapped water chestnuts on paper towels.

Step 5Discard bacon grease.

Step 6Make sauce with remaining ingredients.

Step 7Transfer bacon wrapped water chestnuts to a dish with sauce.

Step 8Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
