A lady at church gave me this recipe years ago. It has always been a hit every time I've taken it to parties as an appetizer. Never met anyone who did not like it. There is never any left and I always make a double batch.

  • 1 c
    white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 can(s)
    whole water chestnuts
  • 1 c
  • 2 lb

How to Make Bacon Wraps


  1. Wrap each water chestnut with one half strip of bacon.
  2. Place seam side down on cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 400degrees for 40 minutes.
  4. Drain baked bacon wrapped water chestnuts on paper towels.
  5. Discard bacon grease.
  6. Make sauce with remaining ingredients.
  7. Transfer bacon wrapped water chestnuts to a dish with sauce.
  8. Bake 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
  9. Enjoy!!
