Ingredients

  • 4-6 cans whole water chestnuts
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • - tooth picks

How To Make bacon wrapped water chestnuts

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 deg. Drain chessnuts and wrap each chestnut with a small piece of bacon and stick a tooth pick in to hold bacon.
  • Step 2
    Place them on a cookie sheet an bake till bacon is done.
  • Step 3
    Mix ketchup and brown sugar, dip each cooked bacon wrapped chestnut in the ketchup mixture, place back on the cookie sheet, bake for an additional 10 min.
