1 lbgood quality bacon, sliced in half
1-2 can(s)water chesnuts-drained well
2 Tbspbrown sugar
2 Tbspsoy sauce
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts w/ glaze
- Pre heat oven to 375
- Wrap bacon slices around water chestnuts and place in baking dish seam side down-cut bacon to fit if needed.
- Mix ketchup, brown sugar and soy.
Bake chestnuts until bacon just starts to brown.
Pull from oven, drain off excess juices if desired.
Glaze tops of chestnuts with ketchup mixture.
Place back in oven until bacon is completely cooked-looks carmelized and golden & bubbly.
