Ingredients
- 3 cans whole water chestnuts
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 3/4 pounds bacon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

How To Make bacon wrapped water chestnuts

Step 1Drain water chestnuts and place in plastic storage container. Add soy sauce, replace the lid and shake to coat. Allow to marinate overnight, shaking the container periodically.

Step 2The following day, preheat oven to 425°. Cut bacon strips into thirds or in half and wrap each chestnut in bacon. Secure with a toothpick.

Step 3Place chestnuts on baking sheet lined with foil. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 25-35 minutes, or until bacon is cooked through and golden brown.
