Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
Be prepared to marinate the chestnuts overnight.

- whole water chestnuts
- 1/3 c
- soy sauce
- 1 3/4 lb
- 1/4 c
- brown sugar
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
- 1Drain water chestnuts and place in plastic storage container. Add soy sauce, replace the lid and shake to coat. Allow to marinate overnight, shaking the container periodically.
- 2The following day, preheat oven to 425°. Cut bacon strips into thirds or in half and wrap each chestnut in bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
- 3Place chestnuts on baking sheet lined with foil. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 25-35 minutes, or until bacon is cooked through and golden brown.
