  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 pkg
    meat loaf seasoning (set 2 tablespoons aside in a small bowl
  • 1/2 c
    plain bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c
    onion, diced
  • 1/3 c
    green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato paste ( 1 tablespoon set aside)
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    8 slices of uncooked bacon, cut in half. smaller meat balls bacon can be cut to fit
  • ·
    tooth picks if desire

  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    meat loaf seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Meat Loaf Balls With Dipping Sauce


  1. Preheat ove to 400. Place beef in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the meat loaf seasoning,bread crumbs, onion, and green peppper. Mix together with hands.
  3. Add the tomato paste, salt and pepper, and combine with hands.
  4. Roll meat mixture into 16 balls for a meal, smaller balls for a party.
  5. Wrap bacon around meal loaf balls and place on a cookie sheet folded side down.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes or until meat loaf balls are no longer pink and bacon is crispy.
  7. For dipping sauce: In a small bowl combine the sour cream,2 tablespoons meat loaf seasoning mix and the 1 tablespoon of tomato paste, and the salt and pepper to taste. Chill until read to serve.
