How To Make bacon swirls
Test Kitchen Tips
We used a sheet of crescent dough for this recipe. If that's not available, just use a regular can and press the seams together. Also, it took about 20 minutes for ours to bake to a golden brown.
-
Step 1In a small bowl, add cream cheese and minced onions.
-
Step 2Add cooked and crumbled bacon.
-
Step 3Mix together adding a little milk at a time until it is creamy and will spread evenly.
-
Step 4Unroll crescent roll dough. Press formations to seal the seams. Spread the cream cheese mixture leaving about 1/4" around the edges.
-
Step 5Roll up, jelly-roll style, starting at the long side. Press edges to seal.
-
Step 6Cut about 1/4" and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle swirls evenly with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
