bacon cheddar pinwheels

A quick appetizer for a brunch. This was a hit at my ladies Sunday School class social.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 - green onions, chopped (optional)

How To Make bacon cheddar pinwheels

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    Unroll dough and separate into 2 long rectangles; press each into 12x4-inch rectangle, firmly pressing perforations to seal
  • Step 3
    Spread dressing over each rectangle to edges
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle each with bacon, cheese and onions
  • Step 5
    Starting with 1 short side, roll up each rectangle; press edge to seal
  • Step 6
    With serrated knife, cut each roll into 8 slices; place cut side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step 7
    Bake 12 to 17 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm
