- 12 small round dinner rolls
- 6 ounces tomato sauce, your favorite
- 12 small mini meatballs, homemade, if possible
- 12 slices provolone cheese

Step 2Gather your ingredients.

Step 5Chef's Tip: Warm the tomato sauce and meatballs in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

Step 6Cut a round whole in the center of the dinner rolls, slightly bigger than the meatball, but don’t cut all the way through.

Step 7Place a bit of provolone in the bottom.

Step 8Fill about halfway up with tomato sauce. Place a meatball in the hole, and allow the sauce to overflow onto the bun. Yummy.

Step 9Top with a piece of provolone cheese.

Step 10Place under the broiler, until the cheese is nice and bubbly, about 2 minutes.

Step 11PLATE/PRESENT

Step 12Put them on a plate with some napkins, and stand back. Enjoy
