- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 8 - rice paper wraps
How To Make asian chicken spring rolls
-
Step 1Trim the green off the green onions. Slice the green tops and set aside. Finely chop the chicken, green pepper and white parts of the green onions. Add 1 tablespoon of the rice vinegar, the Hoisin sauce, the sesame oil, black pepper and crushed red pepper. Add cabbage and toss to combine.
-
Step 2Fill a large shallow plate that has a rim with water. Slide a rice paper wrap into the water and soak for 5 to 10 seconds. Slide out of the water and place on a clean surface. Place a teaspoon or less filling on the center of the wrap and fold up the sides and roll, enclosing the filling. Repeat with the rest of the wraps and filling.
-
Step 3For the Dipping Sauce.....in a small bowl combine sliced green onion tops, remaining 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar, water and soy sauce.
