hoisin sauce
1 tsp
sesame oil
1/4 tsp
ground black pepper
1/4 tsp
crushed red pepper

shredded cabbage
2 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
rice paper wraps

How to Make Asian Chicken Spring Rolls


  • 1Trim the green off the green onions. Slice the green tops and set aside. Finely chop the chicken, green pepper and white parts of the green onions. Add 1 tablespoon of the rice vinegar, the Hoisin sauce, the sesame oil, black pepper and crushed red pepper. Add cabbage and toss to combine.
  • 2Fill a large shallow plate that has a rim with water. Slide a rice paper wrap into the water and soak for 5 to 10 seconds. Slide out of the water and place on a clean surface. Place a teaspoon or less filling on the center of the wrap and fold up the sides and roll, enclosing the filling. Repeat with the rest of the wraps and filling.
  • 3For the Dipping a small bowl combine sliced green onion tops, remaining 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar, water and soy sauce.
