appetizer essentials: yummy pork strips
This is an excellent appetizer, and its piquant sauce is just perfect for pork. I served these up on Memorial Day, and they were a huge hit. In my case I served them with a ranch dipping sauce. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients
- PLAN/PURCHASE
- 1 pound pork tenderloin
- 4 tablespoons Tamari sauce, or liquid aminos
- 4 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast

Step 1PREP/PREPARE

Step 2Gather your ingredients (mise en place).

Step 3Cut tenderloin into strips, like chicken fingers.

Step 4In a mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients.

Step 5Add the tenderloin strips into a baking dish, or Ziploc bag, then pour the marinade over them and turn to coat.

Step 6Place into the fridge for 1 or 2 hours.

Step 7Place a rack in the lower position, then preheat oven to 350f/175c.

Step 8Take a baking pan, line with parchment paper, and add a wire rack.

Step 9Remove the pork from the marinade, shake off the excesses, and place on the wire rack.

Step 10Reserve the remaining marinade.

Step 11Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20 - 25 minutes.

Step 12Turn the pork over, baste with the reserved marinade, then bake an additional 20 – 25 minutes.

Step 14Serve unaccompanied or with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy
