This recipe can be used to accompany Fish Stick Fondue (separate recipe). By Fondue by Casparek.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 - garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch fresh basil

How To Make tomato dip

  • Step 1
    Season the tomatoes with the vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Press in garlic and stir in olive oil.
  • Step 3
    Set aside a few basil leaves for garnish; finely chop remainder and mix in.
  • Step 4
    Divide sauce among 4 small bowls and garnish with basil leaves.
