Ingredients

  • 6 slices cuban bread, diagonally cut, (1-inch thick)
  • 1 - garlic clove, halved
  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 18 slices plum tomato, (1/8-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 6 dashes salt
  • 6 dashes freshly ground black pepper

How To Make cuban bread with tomatoes

  • Step 1
    Preheat broiler.
  • Step 2
    Arrange bread on a baking sheet; broil 1 minute on each side or until toasted.
  • Step 3
    Rub cut sides of garlic clove over one side of each bread slice; drizzle bread evenly with olive oil.
  • Step 4
    Top each bread slice with 3 slices tomato, 2 teaspoons cheese, a dash of salt, and a dash of freshly ground black pepper.
  • Step 5
    Broil 1 minute or until bubbly.
