crunchy granola

This is an adopted recipe that I can't wait to try! My husband likes granola, and is diabetic. This looked like a good one to make for him. :) Would be great in a big ol' bowl to munch on as an appetizer!

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup wheat germ (or i like bob's red mill 10 grain hot cereal mix)
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup sunflower or millet seeds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins, reserve
How To Make crunchy granola

Step 1Mix all together with electric mixer, spread evenly on 2 baking sheets with edges, and bake in 250 oven until golden brown (45 to 60 minutes).

Step 2Turn and stir after 30 minutes.

Step 3Remove from oven, add raisins.

Step 4Cool and store in plastic bag.
