apple and cheese canapes
While on vacation, we came across a little cookbook, 101 Apple Recipes, while bopping around a quaint little downtown apothecary. This recipe was one of the few I got around to trying. And, it's simple, yet unique in its flavorings. The original recipe cored then sliced the apples, and put a dollop of cheese mix in the middle core hole. And the bread was cut to size. And, while this looked elegant, it wasn't very. . . eatable. So I stripped it of its pretty and allowed the flavors to blend better!

How To Make apple and cheese canapes

1Core and dice apples. Sprinkle some lemon juice on, then mix together to coat apples. Add cheeses and mix well.

2To serve, lightly toast breads. Spread apple mix on. Serve.
