LaWanda's Zucchini Cheese

Years ago,I won an Ebony contest with this recipe. I had just come from Seattle and had fried cheese for the first time. For the contest, zucchini must be used,so I added shredded zucchini to a fried cheese recipe from a cookbook I bought in Seattle.
Surprisingly,I won! I've made a few changes during the years. For the original recipe,I made a batter, then dipped in breadcrumbs and fried. Sometimes I use Colby cheese instead of 2 different cheeses,I prefer jack to cheddar so if you prefer cheddar, the measurements can be changed.
