vicki's cheese balls

This is my version of a recipe given to me years ago. I noted the brands of the cheese spreads because they are the only brands I have been able to find. THESE FREEZE VERY WELL.

1 large or 3 medium balls
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, minced fine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 jar (kraft brand) roka blue cheese spread
- 1 jar (kraft brand) old english cheese spread
- 1 package (wispride brand) cheddar cheese spread (comes in a plastic tub)
- 1 package (wispride brand) port wine cheese spread
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped fine
How To Make vicki's cheese balls

Step 1Bring cream cheese and cheese spreads to room temperature.

Step 2Mix all cheese well.

Step 3Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.

Step 4Chill for 1 hour.

Step 5Roll in hands to form one large or 2 - 3 smaller balls.

Step 6Roll in chopped pecans.

Step 7Cover with plastic wrap.

Step 8Serve with good crackers.
