Ingredients
- 3 medium ripe avocados (or use frozen guacamole dip)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup sour cream (8 oz)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 2 - 10 1/2 oz cans plain or jalapeno flavored bean dip
- 1 large bunch green onions, chopped (approx. 1 cup)
- 3 - tomatoes, chopped
- 1 package sharp shredded chedder cheese ( i use medium)
- - large round tortilla chips
How To Make tex mex dip

Step 1Combine mashed avocados with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco mix. To assemble: Spread bean dip on a large shallow serving platter. Next, spread avocado mixture over the bean dip; next spread the sour cream mix over the avocado mix. Sprinkle with chopped onions, tomatoes, and olives. Cover with grated cheese. (Optional at this point: Sprinkle with minced garlic and chopped jalapeno peppers) NOTE: Arrange the layers so each layer will be smaller than the preceding one. It will be kind of little borders.
