Tex-Mex Bean Dip
1 bunchgreen onions (6 onions), chopped, divided
16 ozrefried beans
1 c(8 ounces) sour cream
8 ozcream cheese, cubed
1 c(4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1 c(4 ounces) shredded monterey jack cheese
4 ozcan of green chilies, chopped
1 pkgtaco seasoning mix
How to Make Tex-Mex Bean Dip
- Set aside 1 tablespoon chopped green onions for garnish. In fondue pot or chaffing dish, combine the beans, sour cream, cream cheese, shredded cheeses, chilies, taco seasoning and remaining green onions.
- Heat and stir until cheese is melted. Garnish with reserved onions. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
- Note: I put all ingredients into a microwaveable dish, cook until melted/combined. I then put it into a mini crock pot to keep warm.
