My daughter made these this past weekend for lunch one day....we devoured the whole plate they were so good....so easy to make too!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bottled cheese spread....we have cheese whiz here and that is what was used
  • 2 teaspoons chopped, seeded, canned chipotle peppers
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
  • 1 package (397 g) frozen puff package, thawed but cold
  • 1 large egg, optional
  • 1 tablespoon water

How To Make sweet & spicy pinwheels

  • Step 1
    *double the above ingredients if using 2 sheets of puff pastry Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl mix together the Cheez Whiz, chipotle pepper, salt/pepper and sugar. On a lightly floured surface roll out the pastry sheet to 14 x 11. Spread mixture evenly over pastry. Starting at the long end roll up and refrigerate for 1 hour or 45 mins in the freezer. Trim ends. Cut into 1/2inch slices and place cut side down on a parchment paper lined sheet. If using mix egg and water and brush tops.Bake 15 - 17 mins.So yummy!!
