  • ·
    1 wheel brie cheese or camembert cheese
  • ·
    1 small granny smith apple, thinly sliced
  • ·
    3 tbsp brown sugar
  • ·
    3 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • ·
    3 tbsp whiskey or bourbon
  • ·
    stone ground wheat crackers, baguette slices or apple and pear slices

How to Make Stuffed Brie


  1. Slice cheese lengthwise into halves. Layer 1/2 of the apple slices on the cut side of the bottom cheese half. Mix the brown sugar, walnuts and whiskey in small mixing bowl. Spread evenly over the layered apples. Top with remaining apple slices. Cover with the top cheese half, rind side up. Put on baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts to the desired consistency. Serve with crackers, baguette slices or apple and pear slices. Serves 4 to 6
