These stuffed jalapenos make a great appetizer for game day or any time. **Boiling the peppers helps to remove some the heat from the fresh peppers and it also helps to tenderize them

Ingredients

  • 25 medium jalapeno peppers
  • 1 package 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese (12 oz), sharp or mild
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons worchestershire sauce
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled

How To Make stuffed & baked jalapenos, my way!

  • Step 1
    Wearing gloves, cut peppers in half and remove seeds & membranes. Cook peppers in boiling water for 10 minutes and then drain very well.
  • Step 2
    Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese & worchestershire sauce - mix well. Place 1 heaping teaspoon cheese mixture in each pepper half. Sprinkle tops with crumbled bacon.
  • Step 3
    Place filled jalapenos on a foil-lined backing sheet sprayed lightly with vegetable spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
