Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries, 16 oz.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 hot lemon peppers or 1 jalapeno seeded
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped and roasted
  • 1 package cream cheese, 8 oz. softened

How To Make spicy cranberry cream cheese dip

  • Cranberry dip ingredients!
    Step 1
    Rinse and drain the cranberries. Combine the cranberries, water, salt, sugar and peppers in small pan and heat till boiling. Lower the heat to med/low and put lid on pan, cook about 5 minutes, letting the cranberries pop open. Remove from heat and cool.
  • Cooked cranberries and chopped onions.
    Step 2
    Once cooled, mash well and place cooked cranberries in the refrigerator. Place a block of cream cheese in a serving dish and flatten slightly. Pour a generous amount of cranberry mixture over the cream cheese. Sprinkle toasted walnuts and green onions on top and serve with your favorite crackers! Enjoy...
