Ingredients

  • 1 bag(s)
    fresh cranberries, 16 oz.
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water
  • 5
    hot lemon peppers or 1 jalapeno seeded
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 6
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    walnuts, chopped and roasted
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, 8 oz. softened

How to Make Spicy Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Rinse and drain the cranberries. Combine the cranberries, water, salt, sugar and peppers in small pan and heat till boiling. Lower the heat to med/low and put lid on pan, cook about 5 minutes, letting the cranberries pop open. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Once cooled, mash well and place cooked cranberries in the refrigerator. Place a block of cream cheese in a serving dish and flatten slightly. Pour a generous amount of cranberry mixture over the cream cheese. Sprinkle toasted walnuts and green onions on top and serve with your favorite crackers! Enjoy...
