Ingredients
- 1/2 pound monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 can 4-oz. can diced green chilies
- 1 package won ton wrappers
- oil for frying
How To Make southwest cheese & green chile won tons

Step 1Combine cheese and chilies.

Step 2Place a teaspoonful of cheese mixture on a won ton wrapper. Using a small brush or finger tips, moisten the edges of the wrapper to help it adhere when folding the wrapper.

Step 3Fold the wrapper like an envelope by pressing the edges firmly together.

Step 4Fry in 2 inches of non-flavored oil until golden brown.

Step 5Serve with fresh salsa or guacamole.
