Ingredients For southern pimento deviled eggs

6 lgeggs

6 Tbspmayonnaise

5 Tbspsharp cheddar cheese, finely grated

2 Tbsproasted red bell pepper, chopped finely

1 1/2 tspdijon mustard
-
green onions, green part only, sliced thinly on the diagonal

paprika, to sprinkle on eggs
-
bacon bits to sprinkle on eggs
How To Make southern pimento deviled eggs

1Cook eggs covered in water in a medium sized stainless steel pan. Bring to a boil and let cook for 1 minute. Put on a lid and place on hot pad off of stove for 10 minutes.

2Drain off the water and let cool enough to handle eggs. Peel egg shells off of eggs. Slice eggs in half saving all of the egg yokes.

3Mix together the mashed up egg yolks, mayonnaise (use more if you want for personal preference), Cheddar cheese, minced red bell pepper, and mustard. Add salt and pepper to taste.

4Fill egg halves with yolk mixture and place on serving tray. Sprinkle eggs with paprika, green onions, and bacon bits. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
