Made this up for a get together and it was loved. Has a little snap but not too hot, hence the name.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tabasco
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon basil, dried
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes - optional

How To Make snappy cheese ball

  • Step 1
    Mix everything except sharp cheddar cheese for 1 minute with mixer then add sharp cheddar cheese and mix for 2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Line a bowl with plastic wrap and scape cheese ball mixture into bowl wrapping plastic wrap tightly around the cheese ball. Set in fridge for at least 4 hours.
  • Step 3
    Roll in parsley if desired.
