This is the recipe everyone asks me to bring to any function. And it is really easy to make.

  • 1 pkg
    (8 oz.) cream cheese or neufatchel cheese, softened
  • 2 c
    frozen shrimp, thawed, patted dary & chopped
  • ¼ c
    celery, finely chopped
  • ¼ c
    slivered almonds
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp
    garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp
    onion salt

How to Make Shrimp Cheese Ball


  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Shape into ball and refrigerate for 2 hours.
    (I use and medium size plastic container that I have lined with plastic wrap. Press the cheese mixture in the bowl, fold over the excess plastic wrap, and put the lid on.)
  3. Serve with crackers of your choice.
  4. You can also serve this with cocktail sauce on the side.
