This is the easiest, tastiest and quickest appetizer you'll ever make and everybody loves it.
I've been making these for at 30 years and they're always a hit at any event I take them too.

parmesan cheese, grated
scallions, green tops only
How To Make
Slice the baguette into thin circles. Spread melted butter (or olive oil) on one side of each slice and toast in a 350 degree oven until golden brown.
While the bread is toasting. Combine the Parmesan, mayonnaise and scallion tops.
Spread mayo mixture on the toast rounds.
Pop back into the oven for 10-15 minutes until brown and bubbly.
