Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by my great-aunt
Maxine Barnam.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 pkg
    hidden valley original ranch mix
  • 2
    green onions, minced
  • 1/2 c
    diced celery
  • 1/2 c
    diced red pepper
  • 1 can(s)
    black olives, drained and sliced
  • 4
    12- inch flour tortillas

How to Make Pinwheels

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix cream cheese and salad dressing mix.
  2. Spread on tortillas.
  3. Sprinkle on remaining ingredients.
  4. Roll and wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Chill 2 hours.
  5. Cut off ends of rolls; slice in 1-inch slices. Makes 36 slices.
